Dead island 2 e3 20181/19/2024 Its publisher, Deep Silver, spent many of those years saying little to nothing about the game other than vague confirmations that it was still in development. What briefly began in the early 2010s at Techland, the developer behind the first Dead Island and similar open-world zombie game Dying Light, then moved to Yager Development, then Sumo Digital, and then finally, Deep Silver's Dambuster Studio, was for many years a giant question mark in the game industry. Initially revealed on stage during Sony's 2014 E3 press conference, Dead Island 2 had an infamously rocky road to release. However, it is expected to release sometime in 2021 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.From announcement to release, Dead Island 2 was supposed to take less than a year. The game currently under the supervision of THQ Nordic, according to CEO Lars Wingefors himself, is still in production. But this new address did not last long either. Soon after its delay, Dead Island 2 went through several problems which led the game to gain a new developer Sumo Digital. Finally, this level never reached, and neither did its proper launch happened. However that same year the developers delayed its release claiming that they wanted to take the game to a new level. In the past, the development of Dead Island 2 was in charge of Yager (Spec Ops: The Line) and would be published by Deep Silver. After all, the first game had pleased the players and delivered an interesting experience, in times when zombie games were still new. Many fans were excited to check its first trailer. Dead Island 2 was first revealed during E3 2014 and it was supposed to be released in 2015.
